Energy Experiment: Lemon Battery

In year 4 we are working on a unit related to Energy. 

That's why we did an experiment called "Lemon Battery".

A lemon battery is a simple battery made for the purpose of education. We used a piece of zinc metal (such as a screw) and a piece of copper (such as a 5 cents penny) wich are inserted into a lemon.

Per això hem fet l'experiment anomenat "Bateria de llimones".

La bateria de llimones consisteix en una bateria simple utilitzada en el món educatiu. Per portar a terme l'experiment vam utilitzar una peça de zinc (un cargol galvanitzat) i una peça de cobre (una moneda de 5 cèntims) insertats en una llimona.

THE THREE LITTLE PIGS

During the "Architecture Project" children of 1st year have been studing the parts of the house and the different materials a house can be made. We have worked this through the "The three little pigs" story.

In year 3 English class, during the Architecture's Project, we learnt about the materials the buildings are made of. We also learnt the different kind of buildings we can find around the world. Finally, by groups, we build different kind of buildings and described them. Do you want to see our creations?
